Boca Grande is widely know as the "Tarpon Capital of the World"...
But it only Lasts 2 to 3 Months out of the Year.
Boca Grande is one of Florida’s most famous tarpon fisheries, especially during the seasonal migration through Boca Grande Pass and Charlotte Harbor. This is big-fish water, where powerful adult tarpon stack in deep current and can turn a hookup into a serious fight.
It is also a place where the scale of the fishery becomes very real. Giant tarpon, deep water, current and shark pressure can all be part of the experience. The rewards are huge, but so are the demands on both angler and fish.
Boca Grande is where tarpon fishing can go from exciting to absolutely primal in a hurry.

Choosing where to Fish for Tarpon in the Keys is Harder than Catching One!
The Florida Keys are not one tarpon destination, but a chain of distinct fisheries stretching from the Upper Keys to Key West. Bridges, channels, flats, harbors, beaches and backcountry water can all produce tarpon depending on season, bait, tide and fish movement.
From Islamorada and Marathon to Bahia Honda and Key West, anglers can find everything from migrating adult fish to resident tarpon and smaller backcountry opportunities.
The challenge is not finding tarpon in the Keys...

Had work in Puerto Rico for 10 Days.
Had decided to take my Fiance with me. Since I was going to be doing a shoot for 3 days, I wanted to set some fun stuff up for him. I know he loves to fish, so I contact Dave from Tarpon Dreams.
I had met Dave years back doing some Marketing Stuff. He said he had the perfect set up for us and he pointed us to the right guide and the right lodging.
Sean had a great time fishing and the lodging / airbnb was perfect. Highly recommend TD!

Being from Florida, I have Fished for Tarpon quite a bit. The one thing that really hit me is HOW MANY Tarpon are in the Lagoon!
Caught fish the entire trip, but our Last Day was complete "CATCHING INSANITY"!

I was referred to Tarpon Dreams by one of my Fishing Buddies.
I got set up to Fish with Capt. Carlos and the Place I booked was right on the Lagoon.
I took my Girlfriend because they said that it would be easy fishing. No Waves, No Wind.
It rained a bit, but that actually turned the fish on.
All I can say is WOW!
This was not a Fishing Trip, it was a Catching Trip.
